Job Description:
In the context of modernizing and digitizing our OT/IT network infrastructure, we are seeking an expert OT/IT Network Engineer with experience of SCADA to play a key role in interconnecting the company's critical systems while ensuring their security, robustness, and scalability.
Responsibilities:
* Manage existing networks and systems.
* Design, develop, and document robust and secure network architectures for OT/IT environments in the electricity and gas distribution sector.
* Participate in the transformation and optimization of OT/IT networks, ensuring high system availability and optimal operation.
* Ensure interoperability and convergence of OT and IT systems, complying with security standards and regulations.
* Implement network solutions, adhering to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
* Collaborate with security teams to integrate cybersecurity solutions suitable for the OT environment.
* Conduct technological watch on new solutions and industry trends to optimize network performance and anticipate future developments.
* Advise and support technical teams and project managers in implementing network best practices.
* Create and maintain operational and technical documentation of systems.
* Streamline and consolidate systems to ensure cost control.
* Develop standards and ensure their use and evolution.
* Assist, advise, or lead internal or external technicians.
* Participate in the analysis of IT or business projects as an expert.
* Participate in drafting and following up on public tenders.
Expertise:
* Expertise in designing and implementing network architectures in critical environments.
* Proficiency in network technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, MPLS) and OT protocols (Modbus, IEC 61850, Dnp3, etc.).
* In-depth knowledge of SCADA systems and specific constraints of OT networks in the energy industry.
* Good understanding of cybersecurity issues in critical infrastructures.
* Experience in integrating IT and OT systems with a focus on security and resilience.
* Proven experience or certifications in Cisco and/or Fortinet.

Context:
We are looking for an OT/IT Network Engineer who will primarily handle application management (issue management, change management, OpenShift environment management, MicroServices configuration) and assist with implementations in MicroService technology (.NET and Quarkus).
This is a full-time position based mainly in Liège, with at least three days per week on-site.
