We are looking for a highly motivated Application Engineering Consult to work as an IMEC on-site resident engineer in our Calibre Foundry/SEMI Manufacturing Solution team. You will be part of a high-performing Application Engineering Team responsible for designing, developing, and debugging Calibre based RET/OPC solutions for leading nodes. Our global application engineering team is a creative, dynamic, and highly productive small team environment. This role will be 3/4 days on-site in Leuven.
Responsibilities:
1. Being a subject matter expert in Computational Lithography and building a “trusted advisor” relationship with industry leading customers and partners.
2. Developing software prototypes with Factory to solve computation lithography or advanced mask challenges in python/tcl, Calibre API, and Calibre DRC/OPC Platform.
3. Delivering technical presentations, demos, and trainings on Calibre OPC/MPC Platforms.
4. Driving the adoption, proliferation and successful production deployment of Calibre products in the design to mask production.
Qualifications:
1. Industry experience in OPC/Computational-Lithography or Advanced Mask required.
2. Direct experience in full-chip OPC tech-file or modeling development required.
3. Intermediate / advanced programming skills like python, tcl or C/C++ required.
4. Experience in Linux/Unix environments required.
5. Strong knowledge in photolithography including optics, resist modeling & Mask Synthesis.
6. Direct experience in Siemens Calibre Platform is strongly preferred but not required.
7. Self-motivated and enthusiastically focused on problem solving.
8. Strong technical and written communication skills.
9. Imaging processing or algorithm development experience is a plus.
10. Direct experience in ILT (Inverse Lithography Technology) is a plus.
11. Direct experience in MPC or MDP Fracturing is a plus.
12. Direct experience in Memory OPC/RET is a plus.
13. Direct experience in DRC/Physical Verification is a plus.
14. In-depth understanding of Semiconductor Manufacturing process is a plus.
15. Customer facing experience is a plus.
Education:
M.Sc./M.Eng or Ph.D - or equivalent. This role will be 3/4 days on-site in Leuven.
