My client is seeking a Scrum Master to guide teams in transitioning from traditional delivery methodologies to Agile. Key responsibilities
Leadership & Coaching: Serve as a servant leader for Agile teams, guiding them through their transformation journey while promoting empowerment, collaboration, and transparency
Team Development: Support Agile teams in becoming high-performing units, focusing on self-organization, continuous flow, and improvement
Facilitation: Lead Agile ceremonies, events, and ensure the proper management of artifacts. Assist Product Owners in managing backlogs effectively
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners and Agile teams to align goals, priorities, and requirements
Impediment Removal: Identify and proactively remove obstacles, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth workflows
Best Practices: Promote the adoption of Agile best practices, metrics, and quality standards, using data-driven decision-making to optimize team performance
Representation: Represent Agile teams in Scrum of Scrums and engage with leadership and the Agile community
Change Management: Act as a change agent, championing Agile methodologies across the organization
Project Management: Adhere to my client's Project Delivery Framework, managing dependencies and coordinating resources and stakeholders
Requirements
Scrum Master Certification: Required
Education: University degree in IT, Finance, or a related field
Experience: Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in an Agile/Scrum context, particularly within the banking or financial sector
Core Banking Software: Experience with Temenos Core Banking software (Temenos Transact T24 and/or TAP) is an advantage
Agile Tools: Proficient with Jira, Confluence, Miro, and other Agile collaboration tools
Languages: Fluent in English; additional proficiency in German or French is an advantage
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, stakeholder management, and experience with Agile delivery methods
