About the role
As a Global Portfolio Development Director - STS Mechanical Simulation you will drive and grow recurring and incremental revenue of the entire STS Mechanical Simulation portfolio, based upon an agreed global positioning for the different Simcenter 3D Simulation tools, through the definition and execution of existing and new customers and markets. Drive our go-to market strategies and leverage Digital Threads to maximize success and exceed the annual business plan.
Area of Responsibility
1. Build and maintain a global STS Mechanical ARR plan that aligns with the Zone and Country Integrated Country Plans, and ensure these plans are aligned with the Marketing, Industry, Sales, PFD, and PreSales functions.
2. Monitor, track and drive improvement against Global Portfolio Development KPIs which are ARR achievement, Digital Thread and Solutions Campaign pipeline, as well as Suspect progression into pipeline and Closed/Won.
3. Build relationships with Country & Sales Management, Account Orchestrators, Partner Management, PFD, PreSales and Marketing to maximize revenue & pipeline in conjunction with the Global, Zone and Country Portfolio Development leads to cover the entire Simcenter Mechanical Portfolio.
4. Use tactics such as Simcenter Growth Workshops, the Simulation to MCAD Attach Program to accelerate growth.
5. Be the face and the voice of Mechanical Simulation towards the different internal and external stakeholder groups. Be an ambassador and an evangelist for your solutions.
6. Responsible for consolidating and prioritizing critical feedback to the Global PFDs, identifying functionality gaps, market opportunities, competitive feedback relative to market needs.
7. Drive execution of appropriate campaigns within the Zones & Countries through Direct Sales, Indirect & Digital channel, focusing on both Large Enterprise Accounts as well as SMB.
Your Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree holder in Engineering, Information Technology or Economics.
* Proven experience working in a Zone or Global PFD role doing a similar job, driving consistency of execution.
* Proven experience in (Mechanical) Simulation software industry.
* Extensive and proven knowledge and experience of solution selling.
* Can-do attitude, go-getter, resilient and determined.
* Solution knowledge with Siemens Mechanical Simulation solutions and competitive products is essential.
* Fluent in English.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills and be able to communicate and to drive people in obtaining result independently.
* Being able to work in a multi-cultural environment, involving global to all 4 zones.
* Willingness to travel 25%-50% of the time.
