EMEA BIS Operations lead - Commercial and Medical
For the expansion of our Business Information Systems (BIS) team, argenx is looking for an EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) BIS Operations lead - Commercial and Medical. The Lead will be a key member of the BIS Commercial and Medical affairs team and will act as the Digital, Process and Technology business partner for the EMEA Commercial and Medical Affairs Team. This role will encompass business analysis, end-to-end project delivery including assisting with project management, change management and integration architecture. This role is responsible for supporting initiatives primarily within the Commercial teams (such as Sales, Marketing and Medical). In addition to critical thinking and project execution, this role will include ongoing support and adoption management for the business community.
Roles And Responsibilities
1. Work closely with the EMEA Commercial and Medical Affairs team to understand their business needs, challenges and opportunities.
2. Perform business analysis, gather, develop, and craft clear business requirements for IS Solution(s) partnering with the EMEA Commercial and Medical Affairs team.
3. Contribute to all phases of solution delivery and support: identification, evaluation, implementation, testing, training, and support to meet and exceed business requirements.
4. Serve as a technical lead for multiple projects and applications, balancing structure & discipline with agility in the delivery of projects and support of solutions.
5. Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of the solutions implemented and provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
6. Work within established change control procedures to ensure proposed changes to applications and business processes are appropriately assessed, triaged, tested and deployed.
7. Ensure the quality, security and compliance of solutions and data used by the team.
8. Ensure high level support and maintenance of the applications used by the Commercial Team, in collaboration with operations/support teams (Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Medical Information Cloud).
9. Manage budget for delivery of applications.
10. Maintain an overall understanding of industry landscape to ensure that we are deploying best-practice solutions.
Education, Experience And Qualifications
1. Minimum of 10 years working either in a biopharmaceutical company or a consulting organization with focus on the life sciences sector.
2. Minimum 3 years working in a business analyst role supporting Commercial and Medical Affairs business functions required with knowledge of key business processes centered around Veeva CRM, Medical Legal Review Process, and Case Management within Medical Information.
3. Experience creating and maintaining user and functional requirements documents is required.
4. Experience creating and maintaining business process flow diagrams is required.
5. Experience (certifications) with Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Salesforce, and associated data is preferred.
6. Master Data Management, Medical Information Databases, and reporting tools experience preferred.
7. Ability to lead small to medium size projects preferred.
8. Ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders required.
9. Understanding of the industry landscape and global regulatory requirements (e.g. GxP, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
