We currently have a vacancy for an Enterprise Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
o Create business architecture models that reflect the organization’s strategies and goals;
o Integrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies and drivers, and management priorities;
o Identify ways to reduce the number of data issues communicated by the business in the IS;
o Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities;
o Conduct research to find ways to improve data quality;
o Provision of expert advice and assistance in any area associated with the Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse technologies;
o Architecture, design and review of information systems;
o Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
o Management of quality tests;
o Provision of security studies, security assessments or other security matters associated with information system projects;
o Functional requirements and business case analysis and gathering business intelligence requirements.
+ Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 11 years of relevant working experience in IT;
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in Data modelling;
+ Experience with Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL;
+ Experience with ETL technologies;
+ Experience of Workflow applications;
+ Experience with complex application environments;
+ Good knowledge of information systems and DataWarehouse;
+ Good knowledge of visual reporting technologies;
+ Good knowledge of Business Intelligence matters;
+ Good knowledge in Database Management systems;
+ Knowledge of enterprise architecture notations and tools;
+ Knowledge of modelling, graphical representations and abstractions;
+ Excellent knowledge of the English language, French would be an asset.
