Information and Knowledge Manager (Architecture and Engineering)

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Essential Qualifications/Experience:
1. 5 years of experience in Information and Knowledge Management, specifically in Architecture, Technical and Engineering.
2. 5 years of experience with IKM tools (Confluence, SharePoint and/or others).
3. Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite including VBA and Visio.
Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
1. Familiarity with Communication and Information Systems.
2. Awareness of Architecture Modelling and System Design languages and frameworks (Archimate, SysML, UML, BPMN, NAF, TOGAF, MBSE or others).
3. Awareness of Architecture and Design tools (Archi, ARIS, Sparx EA, ProLaborate or others).
4. Knowledge of Service Management (ITIL).
5. Knowledge of Project Management (PRINCE 2, PMP).
6. Prior experience of working in an international environment.
7. Knowledge of NATO political ambition and organizational structure.
DUTIES/ROLE:
1. Operating, supporting, and maintaining integration platform technologies such as MuleSoft and Apache ActiveMQ.
2. Capture and analyse current MCIS TDA, SMA and EE Team IKM requirements in support of Architecture Modelling, System Design, Process Development, Administrative, Coordination, Collaboration, Project Management and Service Management activities.
3. Develop the Knowledge Base environment to be used by the TDA, SMA and EE Teams.
4. Develop and maintain IKM workflows and tools to meet requirements.
5. Develop and maintain necessary IKM related documentation and provide support to users.
6. Monitor that IKM guidelines and tools are used properly.
7. Ensure that Information Products are maintained up to date by their owners.
8. Provide advice and guidance on solutions in line with NATO, NCIA and CTO IKM approach and policies.
9. Participate in an Agile team, providing services using an iterative approach during multiple sprints, each planned for a duration of 1 week, with content and scope agreed during sprint-planning meetings.
