Senior Electrical Design Hardware Engineer, Amazon Mechatronics

We build the Robotics solutions that have enabled the efficiency that Customers have come to expect from Amazon's retail business.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. As an Electrical Hardware Engineer, you are responsible for supplying all design documents needed to build a product (machinery).
2. You are responsible for providing all necessary documents and calculations to prove compliance with the required standards and directives.
3. You will be involved from the concept phase up to and including the final realization of a product.
4. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across multiple regions and will often be present in consultation meetings. It is crucial to be in constant contact with colleagues from Mechanical and Software Design.
About the Team
Today our Electrical design team is about 10 people. Each of them has specific and extensive knowledge and skills. We therefore strongly encourage using the individual's strengths to help others within the team, even if this individual is not part of the project. In this way we ensure that you do not become isolated within your project and that you remain connected with the rest of the team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or similar
2. Used Eplan P8 V2.9 or Eplan 2023 for electrical hardware designs of machinery.
3. Extensive knowledge of European and American design standards
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Masters in Electrical Engineering or similar
2. EPLAN Certified Engineer (ECE)
3. Experience with scripting in EPLAN
4. Experience with EPLAN Propanel & Smart Wiring modules
5. Extensive knowledge of UL508A/NFPA79/IEC60204-1
6. Knowledge of Machine Directive 2006/42/EG
7. Team player who is punctual & capable of working well under pressure
8. Good communication skills (oral and written)
