Objective of the function
The Pricing Manager plays an important role in the successful execution of the LPBE pricing strategy. He/she supports and drives the LPBE sales teams (incl. New Business) by providing pricing insights, advice, and guidance.
Essential responsibilities
1/ Own entire commerce budget cycle:
* Budget cycle (orders, fleet, profitability, service index and phasing.)
* Quarterly (re-)forecasting
* Shape and monitor commercial target setting (i.e. annual bottom up target setting with monthly performance management)
2/ Back test approved vs applied pricing at client level on a quarterly basis
3/ Manage (and minute) weekly commercial pricing committee for strategic deal approval (incl.):
* First line of support to commerce teams for client profitability cases
4/ Administer pricing files at client level to ascertain quick update of client specific or central pricing changes (incl.):
* Support of commercial standups for multi supply customers to balance hit rate and profitability (4 times per week)
* First line of support to the internal quote to order teams
* Being the custodian of the pricing governance within ALD | LeasePlan
5/ Own monthly commercial KPI tracking for HQ within a preset format
6/ Compile the quarterly rent index to track and identify pricing delta´s in our technical pricing
7/ Report, track and govern:
* Commercial incentives at client level in close collaboration with finance
* Operational losses at order level in close collaboration with finance and risk
8/ Represent commerce in technical pricing committees (RV and RMT)
9/ Ad hoc assignments
* Reporting optimizations for commercial performance management, mainly power BI
* Support the pricing harmonization project with ALD Automotive
Competencies
* Analytical
* Data driven
* An aptitude to operate within the commerce function to translate stories into facts and data
* Ability to understand, design and build analytical models
* Strong proficiency in Dutch and English - written and verbal
Education and Experience
* Comprehensive experience of working in a Commercial and Financial environment.
* Proven track record in financial environment
* Highly skilled in Excel, experienced user of QlikView and Power BI (incl. administrator tasks)
* SalesForce, Business Objects and AS400 as a plus
