Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Salesperson to join our team in Belgium and Luxembourg. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with customers in the Pharmaceutical, Academic, and other segments.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly evolved team focused on customers within these key segments at a time of significant change. As a Salesperson, you will play a critical role in achieving our Annual Operating Plan by driving sales growth and developing strategic partnerships with laboratory customers.
Main Responsibilities:
* Meet or exceed annual sales targets set for the territory
* Develop and execute strategies to grow sales of laboratory products and consumables
* Analyse data to identify high-value sales opportunities and communicate market trends and competitor activities to stakeholders
* Maintain strong relationships with customers through regular phone, MS Teams, and email contact, as well as occasional face-to-face meetings
* Utilize channel partners and e-commerce platforms to deliver solutions for customers
* Ensure accurate customer records are maintained
* Provide regular updates on successes and challenges to improve team, regional, and organizational performance
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences required
* Prior sales experience in a relevant industry is highly beneficial
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to effectively interact with various customer types
* Strong negotiation skills
* Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic business environment
* Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams) and languages including English, French, and Dutch
