Roles & Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a Manager CFO - Public Sector to strengthen our enthusiastic CFO Advisory Services team within KPMG Belgium. You will help CFOs & CEOs to become business partners and to engage in strategic development to support their operational business by improving the business value and operations of their Finance functions. Your key activities will include:
Project management:
1. Participate, lead, manage CFO Advisory Services projects;
2. Manage small teams to execute projects;
3. Assist clients with practical recommendations and leading practices to improve business and finance processes.
Commercial management:
4. Support business development, from lead identification to the presentation of pitches and proposals;
5. Assist in the development of KPMG service offerings.
People management:
6. As a performance manager, manage, develop, motivate, train, and coach team members to maximize the achievement of their potential;
7. Coach and lead team members by example, in accordance with KPMG’s quality standards;
8. Develop expertise and knowledge of a variety of clients and markets, and awareness of KPMG’s service offerings;
9. Build on professional qualification by undertaking relevant functional or sector-specific training;
10. Contribute to review(s) on completion of projects to identify lessons learned and enhance future quality and commercial planning.

Skills & Qualifications
11. Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or another quantitative field; or a bachelor’s degree with significant experience within public sector;
12. Experience in consulting or advisory services within the Public Sector, Finance Transformation, Costing & Profitability Management, Financial Reporting;
13. Significant expertise within public accounting, financial services, financial process analysis, and process improvement;
14. Experience with managing small teams of 1-5 people;
15. Very strong numerical and analytical skillset with excellent communication skills in written and verbal form;
16. Good knowledge in Dutch and English.
