About the role:
As an Enterprise Architect within the Corporate IT Architecture & Project management department you will be responsible for designing the business and IT architecture ensuring alignment with SD Worx’ strategy and objectives.

Which tasks can you expect?
* Develop & Implement IT Strategy: Design and develop an overall technology roadmap that supports business goals, ensures scalability, and meets industry best practices. Help SD Worx management to make the right decision providing detailed trade-off analysis and what if scenarios.
* Target Architecture: Develop target architectures for different domains and projects, manage dependencies and ensure that architectural changes are captured at the right time and processed.
* Develop & Maintain Business Capability Map: In strong collaboration with the business stakeholders, define, document and maintain the business capability map of SD Worx.
* Collaboration with Business Leaders: Work closely with stakeholders across various business units to understand their needs and translate them into technology solutions.
* Governance & Standards: Follow and improve the architectural principles, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency within the architecture domain.
* Architectural Design:
o Create and maintain the high-level design of the enterprise’s IT architecture
o Create and maintain project architecture designs for mid-large projects
* Solution Evaluation & Selection: Evaluate new technologies, tools, and systems for potential adoption, balancing technical feasibility, business alignment, cost-effectiveness, and other benefits.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with the enterprise architecture and propose mitigation strategies.
* Change Management: Factor in the effect of change management in the establishment of the technology roadmap. Ensure minimal disruption to operations.
* Documentation & Reporting: Document architectural designs, systems configurations, and modifications. Provide regular updates to senior management on progress.
* Architecture Governance: Be part of the architecture governance to ensure any change in existing requirements is captured, assessed and cascaded to the target architectures, and to ensure that projects are delivering expected values as expected by the company strategy.
What do you have to offer?
* Proven experience (7+ years) in IT architecture or a related field.
* Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and enterprise-level applications.
* Experience in leading cross-functional project teams and working with senior/executive leadership.
* Experience with Agile methodologies.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
* Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
* Critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
* Able to easily connect to all levels & functions within the organization.
* Experience using EA tools like LeanIX.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certifications in Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF certification).
* Knowledge of modelling languages as UML or ArchiMate
