We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison with a focus on Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolic conditions. In this role, you will be a scientific expert in the field, engaging in high-level scientific exchange, building and maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with external authorities, and uncovering unmet medical needs. You will also be part of a cross-functional team in our CVRM Business Unit, contributing to the development and implementation of our medical product strategy.Accountabilities:Your responsibilities will include working closely with Regulatory, Market Access, and Marketing on field-related medical issues, supporting local, regional, and global AstraZeneca clinical research programs, and providing medical and scientific input on our sales promotion activities. You will also be tasked with coordinating and completing scientific events for healthcare professionals, maintaining expertise in your therapeutic area through continuous education, and ensuring compliance with all local regulatory requirements.Crucial Skills/Experience:Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is encouragedScientific university degree in a health- and/or science-related field; MD or PhD strongly preferredHigh-level of scientific knowledge and ability to analyze and process clinical and scientific dataProficiency in English and Dutch - a mustDriving license and willingness to drive within the whole designated areaExperience in collaborating closely with healthcare professionalsLaunch experienceOutstanding written and verbal communication skills, including communicating complex technical, scientific, or medical information to broad audience typesExtensive knowledge of the legal and ethical framework and the procedural guidelines that apply to the promotion and approval of medicinal products in BelgiumWe offer:A lively, exciting, and international environment with plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and develop new skills.
