This role involves supporting the dynamic growth of the business, driving HR processes, ensuring compliance, and enhancing HR contributions. Additionally, the role includes fiduciary duties as the Country HR Manager for Belgium, being part of the Benelux management team and reporting to the Country Managing Director Benelux.Your Responsibilities:Leadership partnering with establishment of strong relationships with business leaders, partnering with the Country Managing Director and senior leaders to ensure compliant and effective people practices, translating business goals into HR priorities.Labor relations, serving as the country's labor relations manager, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and negotiating agreements with worker councils and other employee representative teams.HR processes, driving the implementation of workforce planning, performance management, succession, and talent management.Compliance, ensuring adherence to local labor laws and company policies, fulfilling fiduciary duties on behalf of the local legal entity.Providing strategic support on business growth by coaching and managing on key people management activities such as performance management, employee relations, talent management, hiring, and recruitment.Effective internal communications, facilitating HR-related topics to all stakeholder groups, driving alignment and collaboration within the HR team.Process improvement, seeking opportunities for simplification and harmonization of HR processes within the country and providing input to ensure the latest legislative requirements are covered in regulations.External representation of the organization in employer associations, universities, and employee branding events, actively managing external partnerships and stakeholders.Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your Background:You hold a master’s degree.You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in HR operations management; international exposure is highly desirable.Knowledge of HRIS systems and local labor legislation for Belgium and the Netherlands.You have a strong understanding of business drivers and the ability to utilize HR as a business partner.Established mindset towards continuous improvement, process refinement, and working knowledge of lean six sigma methodologies is highly desirable.Experience in maintaining effective work council relationships, and experienced in change management and transformation projects.Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks and coordinate cross-functional collaboration.Proven leadership skills with a collaborative, results-focused, action-oriented approach, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English.More About Us:Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader that is advancing a sustainable energy future for all.
