About the role
The Marketing Manager for Rubbery Reinforcement is responsible for developing and executing a marketing plan for our Tire Reinforcement unit across Europe, North America, and South Asia/India. This role supports our €2 billion business's market leadership, working closely with Sales, Strategy, and Innovation in alignment with the Bold New Bekaert brand.
Strengthening MarCom Effectiveness:
1. Build and maintain a MarCom community with local stakeholders.
2. Create a channel overview and media list for budget allocation and content distribution.
3. Understand key customers, competitive dynamics, and regional messaging.
Defining MarCom Strategy:
4. Partner strategically to align MarCom with business goals.
5. Develop and implement a MarCom strategy, manage the budget, and ensure impactful content.
6. Support the global brand strategy for Tire Reinforcement.
Executing the Plan:
7. Develop value messaging that highlights market leadership in innovation and sustainability.
8. Create MarCom assets in line with brand guidelines, coordinating with Group Communication.
9. Plan and execute key events, ensuring effective use of messaging and resources.
10. Maintain a strong digital presence and measure effectiveness for continuous improvement.
About You
Essential skills & competencies
11. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing Communications and media relations, supported by a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
12. You possess experience in the EMEA market; exposure to NAM and/or India is a significant advantage.
13. You demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
14. You bring innovative approaches to B2B marketing, particularly in enhancing digital channel engagement.
15. Your strong planning and project management skills enable you to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives.
16. You have high personal integrity, and your ability to communicate clearly and adapt in changing environments is a key strength.
17. You are highly proficient in both written and spoken English.
