Our client, an international law firm based in the heart of Brussels, is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their welcoming and professional team in a stunning office environment. As a Finance Assistant, your primary duties will include: Helping the accountants with accounting, including data entry and account reconciliations. Helping the billing manager with the billing process, including preparing invoices and ensuring timely payments. Managing accounts payable, including reviewing, processing, and tracking payments. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Collaborating with team members to ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures. Assisting in preparing financial reports and summaries. Addressing inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders related to financial matters. Some experience in a finance role (preferably in a law firm or professional services environment). Knowledge of either accounts payable, accounting and/or billing processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Proficiency in English and either French or Ducth. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
