This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of the company, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the seamless execution of our ambitious business objectives. The COO will be responsible for leading transformation initiatives, managing large teams, and fostering a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and sustainability. As a member of the Executive Committee, the COO will also have a significant strategic role in shaping the future direction of the company.Key Responsibilities1. Leadership & Strategic Oversight: Provide strong, visionary leadership to the organization’s operational functions, working closely with the CEO and the executive team to develop and execute business strategies aligned with long-term goals.2. Strategic Role & Executive Committee: As a key member of the Executive Committee, contribute to the development of the company’s overall strategy, ensuring that operational goals are aligned with broader business objectives. Provide strategic insights and leadership to drive the company’s growth and success at the highest level.3. Change Management & Transformation: Lead the company through a period of transformation, implementing innovative solutions and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, drive profitability, and support sustainability initiatives. Manage change in a way that minimizes disruption while maximizing positive impact across all levels.4. People Management & Organizational Development: Oversee and mentor senior leaders and managers across various departments, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, values, and goals. Develop talent, foster employee engagement, and cultivate a diverse and inclusive workplace. Manage large, diverse teams, encouraging collaboration and high performance.5. Operational Excellence: Ensure the efficient and effective management of all operational aspects, including service delivery, resource allocation, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance and drive organizational growth.6. Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility: Champion sustainability initiatives across operations, ensuring that the company adheres to environmental and ethical standards while maintaining competitive advantage. Act as a role model for diversity, inclusion, and corporate responsibility.7. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, clients, regulatory bodies, and business partners. Represent the company in high-level external engagements and foster a positive company reputation.Qualifications1. Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or in a senior leadership role in a large, complex organization.2. Strong track record in leading transformation and change management processes.3. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, influence, and motivate large teams towards achieving common objectives.4. Demonstrated ability to manage and develop senior-level managers and employees in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.5. Deep understanding of sustainability practices, corporate social responsibility, and diversity & inclusion strategies.6. Strong business acumen with a focus on operational excellence, profitability, and growth.7.
