The Room is a fashion e-commerce platform that has been pushing the traditional boundaries of e-commerce since 2021. With passionately created timeless designs and a strong focus on community engagement, we offer a unique online destination where minimalist design with a twist meets the creativity and input of our international Roomies community. We’re looking for a Social Media & Community Manager who can make our brand top of mind on TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest—creating a strong, personal connection with our audience and driving real engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a social media strategy to position The Room as a strong, personal brand.
2. Manage and oversee Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest channels.
3. Develop untouched social media channels such as Instagram Threads.
4. Develop and implement innovative content ideas for multiple platforms, including Pinterest, email, TikTok, and Instagram.
Community Engagement & Growth
1. Actively engage with followers and fans across all social media platforms.
2. Foster conversations, respond to comments & DMs, and ensure the community feels heard.
3. Grow and nurture our online community, increasing followers and engagement authentically.
Influencer & Brand Collaborations
1. Identify and onboard new international content creators for partnerships.
2. Maintain strong relationships and clear communication with existing influencers for long-term collaborations.
3. Report on the results of influencer collaborations.
4. Ship items and follow up on collaborations.
5. Establish brand collaborations that align with our vision.
Content Creation & Performance Analysis
1. Create moodboards to prepare for upcoming drops.
2. Create relevant content following social media trends.
3. Assist in creating fashionable looks that will be featured on our social media channels.
4. Repurpose and rework content for the website and social media.
5. Analyze content performance to understand what drives traffic and revenue.
Collaboration with External Partners
1. Work closely with our digital marketing agency, providing necessary content and insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or a related industry.
2. Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
3. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of international content creators, influencers, and brand collaborations.
4. Trend Awareness: A keen eye for emerging social media and fashion trends, always staying ahead of the curve.
5. Collaboration Skills: A team player who thrives on working with influencers, creators, and brand partners.
6. Analytical Mindset: Data-driven approach to content strategy, with the ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize content accordingly.
7. Creative Storytelling: Ability to turn social media trends into engaging, high-performing content.
8. Social Media Expertise: Hands-on experience managing TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest, with a deep understanding of platform-specific best practices.
