Mission
We are seeking a Compliance professional to support the global Unifiedpost Payments Compliance Program. The focus of this role will encompass the firm's compliance program in the fields of advisory and monitoring.
You will report directly to the Compliance Officer and will work closely with a wide range of teams within our organization. You will perform all duties in accordance with the principles outlined in the Code of Conduct, as well as the policies and procedures relevant to your responsibilities, to ensure that you adhere to a culture that treats clients fairly and focuses on the long-term sustainability of client relationships.

Responsibilities
This is what we expect of you:
1. Proactively identify, assess and review key emerging compliance risks across the business, based on financial and payments rules and regulations, and track identified issues to resolution;
2. Engage effectively with business unit contacts and management and advise them on requirements
3. Assist first line with updating and implementing policies & procedures;
4. Develop, review and execute the Compliance Risk Assessment and annual Compliance Monitoring Plan;
5. Ensure appropriate controls are developed to monitor identified risks and assist in the automation of first and second line monitoring to enable data-driven reporting ;
6. Define, operate and improve compliance related workflows and processes and increase compliance awareness through staff training ;
7. Provide regular reporting to legal entity Boards of Directors and relevant executive committees and prepare annual regulatory reports for validation by the relevant stakeholders;
8. Maintain accurate and complete records.

Technical Competencies :
9. Seniority between 3 to 5 years in consultancy compliance role; or a seniority of more than 5 years in a compliance role within financial services
10. Legal background with a good understanding of financial services
11. Relevant experience in an advisor/ monitoring type role (e.g. external audit / internal audit / compliance)
12. Working knowledge of EU and Belgian rules and regulations in relation to compliance in the financial market, other jurisdictions a plus
13. Knowledge of surveillance and monitoring techniques
14. Able to work in a project-based manner and effectively translates theoretical concepts into practical and actionable business processes.
15. Relevant Compliance or equivalent professional qualification
16. Fluent (oral and written) in English
17. You value team effort, are a team player but can also work independently
18. You are always curious about new technologies and development methods
