Position Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Operations Manager to support our Ralph Lauren Outlet store in Maasmechelen Village. In this challenging position, you will be responsible for the internal supply chain and ensure that the internal processes run smoothly. On a daily basis, you'll foster a "customer first" culture and support the store to ensure the team maximizes both store performance and profitability. With an infectious passion for the store, the brand and the product, you deliver the highest standards in terms of operations, stock compliance and productivity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Strategically manage the process of inventory and deliveries (including order planning and forecasting) in collaboration with the floor sales team and the (assistant) General Manager, so that the required daily replenishments are realized and the business objectives are achieved
2. Leading, coaching and supporting the team in creating a 'customer first' culture and a working environment where creativity, a strong work ethic and a passion for the Ralph Lauren Brand philosophy are supported
3. Managing and motivating the Sales Support Associates by communicating goals and initiatives through daily team briefings, conducting performance reviews and creating personal development plans to maintain retention support and boost results
4. Providing operational training of store processes and technical equipment, including the cash registers. In addition, responsible for other training and coaching of the team to maintain a positive and productive working environment
5. Sharing and developing departmental product knowledge to ensure operational efficiency and the sale (and replenishment) of products
6. Handle customer inquiries in a positive and professional manner and ensure that the team is trained to the required level
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
7. Experience in managing warehouse processes in a fast and dynamic environment, preferably with an FMCG/Apparel Logistics/Retail background
8. At least 2-3 years of experience with Warehouse Operations at supervisory level
9. Extensive experience in people management, leadership, coaching and training of employees
10. You have a good understanding of Microsoft Office and have specialist knowledge of Excel
11. You have strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing in English (Dutch is an advantage)
12. You are used to setting up and managing warehouse performance through KPIs and service level agreements
13. Stress resistant and used to working with deadlines
14. Experience with RFID can be an advantage
