As Process & IT Manager, you will be responsible for the IT applications and systems in Belgium and abroad, serving about 140 users. In the production sites, there is a local IT support employee responsible for local support and troubleshooting. All IT projects are managed and monitored centrally from Belgium.
There is a close collaboration with an external IT partner, who is also responsible for incident management and infrastructure management. Within the framework of the best-of-breed application landscape, there is collaboration with other external partners and IT suppliers.
Your focus is on the digital transformation of business processes and aligning IT with business strategy. In consultation with management, you define various projects and are responsible for their realization (e.g.: migration of existing SAP legacy environment to new cloud ERP environment, upgrade to new PLM system, further rollout of RPA and use of AI and other technologies, further rollout of cybersecurity).
Your position consists of three parts:
– Defining the IT strategy and roadmap, as well as the further development of the IT team
– Business & process analysis: translation of needs into IT roadmap including solution design and IT architecture
– Project management and implementation: independently initiate projects, including managing external partners, budget monitoring, planning and execution.
You are part of the management team and report directly to the CEO.
Profile
You have ERP implementation experience and a broad knowledge of different IT applications (finance, BI, logistics). You have experience in guiding an organization to a cloud-based infrastructure and application landscape.
Thanks to your strong business interest, you quickly gain insight into business processes and are a full-fledged internal partner. You can outline and drive change projects, monitor planning and budget, and select and manage external partners. You also prefer a hands-on and pragmatic work context.
You are a fluent communicator (native Dutch speaker), able to translate business strategy into a tangible IT roadmap.
