They offer a full range of banking and insurance products and have a digital-first approach. Their mobile banking app is considered to be one of the best banking apps in the world.
Job Description:
As a senior Functional Analyst, you have proven experience in banking and insurance:
* You have over 5 years of experience in managing the functional design of information systems;
* You create the concept and manage the planning for the preliminary analysis and design phase;
* You perform the functional analysis of information systems and draw up the functional design after the pre-study;
* You support changes and enhancements from development through production;
* You recommend and implement system enhancements;
* You develop new program requirements and specifications to support specific customer needs;
* You support system upgrades and resolve problems with current systems;
* You analyse service requests to determine feasibility, technological changes, resource requirements, and project time estimates.
Activities:
You will be working in their Leads Team, which is responsible for the processing of different commercial messages towards their customers via their mobile app or e-mail. As a Business Analyst you are the bridge between IT & Business. Within our team, you’ll be the first point of contact for internal and external colleagues. You help build and extend the existing leads framework. You keep an overview and do the follow-up of your projects.
They expect you to do:
* Analyzing and translating business requirements to a fitting IT solution.
* You make sure the IT solution is accepted in the organisation, taking into account the enterprise architecture. To achieve this, you align the different colleagues: technical experts, IT architects, and colleague business analysts.
* You make a feasibility study: In a Feasibility, you study the work preparation of a project and sketch alternative solution approaches, including assessment of their scope, budget, time-to-market, and ability-to-execute
* You help draw the roadmap for future extension of the leads framework, for example, the positioning of the different tools, evolution towards real time and you translate this roadmap to concrete solutions.
* Cooperating on end-to-end testing in which you take the necessary responsibility
* After completing a project, list the data deliverables and transfer them to the Data Maintenance Team.

* Location: The Bank's office in Belgium (probably Brussels, Leuven or Mechelen)
* Duration: 1 year with option to extend
* Freelancers will not be considered for this position. You will be under BGTS's payroll.
* The candidate must (preferably) already have his residence in Belgium or be willing to move and onboard quickly. Having a Blue Card or a visa for Belgium gives you an advantage.
