Job Description
The Food Technician plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by accurately mixing various food ingredients according to a defined formula and applying them to a substrate as per the recipe.
* Mixing samples using approved raw materials and adhering to the manufacturing instructions outlined on the formula.
* Applying these samples in end-products, including snacks, meat and chicken products, vegetarian and vegan options based on alternative proteins.
* Evaluating results with technologists and sales teams, adjusting formulations as necessary, and sending samples to customers for review.
* Ensuring timely shipment of products.
* Managing raw material stock levels effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or related fields, such as nutrition, dietetics, innovation, health sciences, butchery, or culinary arts.
* Several years of experience within the food industry as a food technician or similar role.
* A strong affinity for food preparation and handling.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Meticulous attention to detail and adherence to hygiene standards.
* Capacity to accommodate frequent contact with food products without any food allergies or sensitivities.
* Proficiency in PC usage and Microsoft Office applications.
* Knowledge of Dutch and/or English languages.
