Business Analyst - Modelling tools
Public Sector
Location: Brussels – Hybrid (mainly teleworking from Brussels)
As a Business Analyst for our Public Sector client, you will:
1. Evaluate and document business needs and requirements.
2. Perform analysis of business models and processes to enhance efficiency.
3. Create models of business processes to streamline operations.
4. Examine functional requirements and develop business case scenarios.
5. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential challenges.
6. Support the development of business cases, vision documents, project charters, and security plans.
7. Test applications and manage acceptance environments.
8. Evaluate the integration of various information systems.
9. Develop data models to support business functions.
10. Prepare software architecture documentation related to workflow application testing.
11. Assist in testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting phases of projects.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
12. A Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience
13. Solid understanding of information systems and administrative business processes in large organizations.
14. Proficiency in analysis and modeling tools and techniques (such as use case diagrams, state diagrams, entity-relationship models, interaction diagrams, etc.).
15. Knowledge of BPMN, UML, or equivalent methodologies.
16. Familiarity with Wiki and collaborative platforms.
17. Understanding of AGILE methodologies
18. Strong skills in preparing and writing business analyses.
19. Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical audiences.
20. Strong presentation skills for high-level discussions.
21. Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture.
22. Experience in designing business workflow applications.
Fluency in English (at least at C1 level).
