Team description
The internal audit department is composed of 17 employees working on business and IT related audits. The IT internal audit, from which the data analytics depends, is composed of 6 team members. The current data engineer role is based in Belgium.
Your responsibilities
Toyota Motor Europe has implemented data analytics and automation within its activities and is now looking to broaden the work efficiency by expanding the scope of the project.
1. Assist in the design, development, and testing of analytics solutions using industry-leading tools and technologies.
2. Work closely with data analysts to gather and prepare data for use in automation scripts.
3. Analyse existing workflows and processes to determine feasibility and potential benefits of automation.
4. Document requirements, design specifications, and test plans for data analytics projects.
5. Provide support during the implementation and deployment of automated solutions, including user training and troubleshooting.
6. Monitor the performance of scripts and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
7. Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in the data world and automation technologies.

Your Profile
For TME Graduate positions we are targeting recent University Graduates (less than 18 months of experience excluding internships)
8. You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
9. Holding a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for leveraging technology to drive business improvements
11. Strong proficiency in SQL
12. Strong proficiency in Python language for automating data-related tasks and performing data manipulation
13. Exposure to data warehousing solutions like Snowflake
14. Experience in working with GitHub for version control
15. Experience with tools like Dataiku (for data science and analytics) and Collibra (for data governance)
16. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
17. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
