Network Infrastructure ArchitectWe are seeking a seasoned Network Infrastructure Architect to spearhead the redesign of a hybrid network landscape for a major client.About the RoleYou will work closely with our internal Network Architect to shape the future architecture, encompassing both cloud (primarily Azure, some AWS) and on premise components (managed by an external supplier).Key Responsibilities:Assess Current Infrastructure: Define requirements for a future proof hybrid network by evaluating existing infrastructure.Collaborate on Redesign: Work with the internal architect to drive the network redesign and ensure alignment with business objectives.Vendor Management: Interact with external vendors and suppliers to align on technical expectations and delivery.Network Technology Selection: Identify and implement appropriate network technologies and security standards to meet the needs of the hybrid network.Implementation and Best Practices: Play a key role in the implementation phase and ensure that best practices are applied throughout the process.RequirementsWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced candidate who meets the following must have criteria:5+ Years of Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Network Infrastructure Architect.IT Expertise: 10+ years in IT, ideally in complex and large enterprise environments.Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead architecture redesigns independently, from concept to implementation.Hybrid Network Knowledge: Hands on understanding of hybrid networks: Azure (main), AWS, and on premise setups.Zero Trust Networking: Strong knowledge of zero trust networking principles, ideally with real world experience across specific tools and frameworks.Cultural Fit: Comfortable working in less mature or evolving IT environments.Language Proficiency: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in French and/or Dutch, and English is required.Nice to have skills include:External Supplier Experience: Experience in working with external suppliers or managed service providers.Enterprise Level Security: Background in enterprise level security frameworks and network performance optimization.
