For one of our clients, we are seeking an experienced Underwriting Strategy & Process Manager.
In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing processes, developing new strategies, strengthening relationships within the sector, and ensuring the smooth operational management of corporate insurances for mid-sized companies.
Your Responsibilities
* Act as the primary contact for brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders within the Midcorp value chain.
* Collaborate with brokers to manage administrative tasks and maintain efficient communication processes.
* Accurately manage and process data related to policies, clients, and other important information.
* Summarize policy information in a clear and concise manner for better understanding by brokers and clients.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of underwriting strategies for emerging sectors.
* Enhance efficiency and service quality across the entire insurance value chain.
* Engage in process enhancement projects, focusing on automation, improved communication, and enhanced productivity.
* Analyze and report on KPIs and financial performance, identifying growth opportunities.
* Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams and projects within the insurance market.

Profile
* A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of experience.
* 10 to 15 years of experience in Corporate Non-Life Insurances, with a strong background in commercial underwriting.
* Previous experience as a project manager, team manager, or change manager is highly desirable and will be considered a strong plus.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to improve and optimize business processes.
* Experience in market development and client retention.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
* Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is a must to effectively communicate and engage with clients and stakeholders.
* The candidate should be enthusiastic, dynamic, stress-resistant, and detail-oriented, demonstrating a proactive and can-do attitude.
* Strong organizational skills and excellent prioritization abilities are necessary to effectively manage tasks and projects within the given timelines.
