About the Role
As an Infrastructure Architect, you’ll play a key role in our client, a big player in insurance, IT infrastructure integration project, focusing on migrating recently acquired systems to their Windows-based infrastructure. This migration involves analyzing and documenting around 60 applications over the course of 2025, ensuring a seamless transition with no impact on the end-user experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct a comprehensive analysis of 60 applications, designing the infrastructure needed to support them on our client systems.
2. Develop detailed ArchiMate architectural designs for the applications.
3. Collaborate closely with our client technical teams to plan and execute the migration, handling on-premises Windows and Linux integrations.
4. Maintain documentation for all aspects of the migration, ensuring transparency and consistency.
5. Regularly communicate with development teams, users, and the project leader, keeping them updated on project status.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
6. 5+ years in IT infrastructure architecture, with broad knowledge of network protocols, Windows systems, Linux basics, and ERP.
7. Generalist profile, with a strong “helicopter view” approach to end-to-end infrastructure design.
8. Familiarity with security protocols (basic understanding of firewall ports, authentication, authorization).
9. Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
