Currently we are looking for candidates for the position of a Sales Area Manager F&B Belgium.
Duties & Responsibilities
Safety - Act as advocate for all aspects of safe practice. Ensures safety of self and others through rigorous use of safe practices and procedures with personal ownership and responsibility.
• Drive and grow sales and services within Belgium F&B Market
• Take responsibility for developing long-term, collaborative partnerships with key customers in the Belgian F&B market
• Leverage in-depth understanding of markets & customers dynamic to develop joint business plans in line with Solenis business strategy and commercial targets
• Analyse decision-making process within key customer organization and initiates contact at various levels within customer organization (customer relationship management)
• Build strong contacts at senior management levels of key accounts
• Lead and partner with customers for business strategies implementation and plan execution, conducting regular business reviews
• Be the face of the company and responsible for all sales, account correspondence, contracts, orders received, new business implementation, troubleshooting and follow ups
• Managing & developing the growing team in the area
• Facilitate meetings with customers on regular basis to discuss service, plans and proposals
The Individual
• Preferably BSc or MSc in food technology, chemistry or chemical engineering
• Someone with experience in B2B (chemical) added value sales (within F&B Market is a plus)
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions, balancing customer’s needs and company objectives
• Extensive experience dealing with F&B customers and/ or working with Food and/or Beverage, chemical production companies is considered to be a plus
• Ability to build customer relationships quickly; versatile across different styles
• Ability to influence others through direct and indirect methods
• Sensitive to new business opportunities and creative approaches to gain
• Business acumen and negotiating skills required for Sr. level customer interface
•Experience using CRM/Sales metrics to report, measure, and drive sales growth
• Leadership skills

Fluency in Dutch & English language is mandatory. French is a plus
