We are looking for anAnalytical Scientist who iscurious,meticulousandmotivatedto join ourPhysico-Chemical Analyticsteam, based in our UCB campus inBraine l’Alleud, Belgium.
About the Role
You will strengthen our Physico-Chemical Analytics group, contributing to the analytical development of our small molecules pipeline. More specifically, you will collaborate with the Pharmaceutical Development Sciences department and your knowledge about formulation, biopharmaceutics, pharmaceutical processes, dissolution and sample preparation will allow to guide overall product development.
Who you will work with
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and technicians. Together, you will tackle challenges and drive breakthroughs in analytical development.
What You Will Do
* Design experiments to optimize methodologies.
* Autonomously manage and perform daily laboratory activities related to method development, validation, transfers and support to process.
* Prepare, review, and approve documentation, including procedures, protocols, and reports.
* Analyze and verify data, presenting and discussing results in project team meetings.
* Provide analytical expertise to projects and represent ADS in cross-functional project teams.
* Interact with regulatory teams for file preparation and submission, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Liaise with other departments (e.g. QC, research) or external partners to ensure analytical knowledge transfer.
* Explore technical and bibliographical publications to inform your work.
* Support Drug Product process development initiatives
Interested? For this role, we are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:
* Master’s degree in chemistry, pharmaceutics or engineering with relevant experience on analytical, drug product performance and formulation characterization
* Technical knowledge in the different analytical techniques linked to drug product: dissolution USP1,2,4 – IDR – disintegration – LC – sample preparation – solubility measurement - …
* Experience in developing and validating analytical methodologies, strong and proven laboratory skills.
* Understanding of regulatory requirements and GMP rules
* Interpersonal skills to communicate and maintain good working relationships within the team and with internal/external customers/partners
