Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the responsibility to propose and implement communication plans. Each day, you will implement assigned marketing communications activities through all available communications tools according to group guidelines, directives, and messages, within the approved budget. You will also showcase your expertise by generating leads via advertising, sponsorship, and other promotional activities, using the internet as a hub for integrated marketing communications.The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Electrification distributions solutions business area in Central Europe main focus Benelux. Main stakeholders are product marketing managers and the regional sales and marketing manager.Your main responsibilities:-Developing and executing the external thought leadership and social media communications strategy and messaging that elevates the position of Distribution Solutions locally and supports the local division strategy.-In close alignment with the global division communications team, accountable for executing local Marketing Communications strategies and action plans to support the local division growth ambitions and strategy. Plan and manage the content for different states of the buying funnel – awareness, consideration, intent to purchase. -Developing and implementing the annual internal communications plan according to the local division strategy. Responsible for developing and implementing high quality internal communication plans to support the ongoing local business priorities.-Leads the local external customer communications and thought leadership editorial calendar, content and storyline through all communication channels to establish coherent internal and external messaging and customer engagement along the buying funnel. Creation of materials can include, but are not limited to internal articles, external customer success stories, case studies, customer presentations, scripts, podcasts, market collateral, etc. -Ensures positioning and impact of the local divisions related content in local external and internal communications channels in support of the local division strategy. Follows global KPIs to track and improve communications effectiveness across various media and channels. Maintain effective measurement and monitoring workflow for their area of scope. -Develops a robust communications network, seeks to promote and gain knowledge of current practices and innovation.-Partners with the local sales and marketing team as well on key campaigns leading the Marketing communications side of it, including events and tradeshows. Connects the dots across Electrification as needed. -Highly collaborative across the local business leaders in the country and the division communication team members globally. -Strong leadership skills able to lead by influence. Indirectly leads a team of local communicators in the region creating a sense of team and developing the team skills. Our team dynamics You will join a team who works collaboratively on all tasks although in the function of local comm lead you are excepted to work individually on comms plans and present them to the team. However the ELDS team holds a good team spirit atmosphere as a strong value. Team gatherings and celebrations of successes are important and your contribution in this is more than appreciated.
Qualifications for the role
* Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, PR, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
* Minimum of 12+ years’ experience in communications and marketing positions
* Strong writing and editing skills. Experience executing lead and nurturing customer communications campaigns is a must. A writing exercise will be included as part of the recruitment process
* You speak fluently Dutch and English. French full professional proficiency required.
* Highly collaborative leader who can lead in a matrixed organization. Experience managing outside vendors, excellent at building relationships.
* Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
* Excellent analytical and time-management skills
* Strong project management skills with an ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. Experience working with B2B companies, engineering, technology, sustainability or energy
