Function: Advisory - Junior Advisor
As a Junior Consultant within CIO Advisory, you will be part of a team that is responsible for supporting clients in their digital and technology-led transformation projects. For KPMG, these transformations are end-to-end involving everything from business/technology strategy to the actual implementation of the chosen IT components.
Your main focus will be:
1. Guide customers in the determination of their IT strategy and IT target operating model and the actual roll-out of this strategy within the organisation:
- Shaping vision on Digital & IT Strategy & Transformation (evaluating as-is, identifying gaps, shaping plans, guiding transformation journey);
- Evaluating & designing Digital & IT TOM (processes, people, service delivery model, governance);
- Creating roadmaps for transformation journey.
2. In context of M&A transactions, conduct assessments and provide advice on Technology/IT aspects in due diligence.
3. Advising on technology aspects of integration, separation (carve-outs), and optimization initiatives.
4. Guide customers in their outsourcing journeys from strategy to improving existing relationships with external service providers.
5. Help define the infrastructure and application architecture (blueprint) for the transformation of the IT systems of the customer (move to cloud, new ERP system...).
6. Assist in setting up the (Agile) portfolio, program, and project management structures to support the management and control of large end-to-end technology-led transformations.
7. Assist in the Quality Assurance component of large-scale transformations in topics such as peer reviews, risk assessments, and issue resolution to ensure quality of technology-driven transformations.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. You hold a Master’s degree preferably in Business Engineering, Information Management, or related fields combining business strategy and IT.
2. You have the ability to work independently, as well as in project teams and take ownership and responsibility.
3. You are fluent in English and in Dutch or French.
4. Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, and TOGAF is considered an advantage.
5. Project management tracks (Scrum Master, SAFe, Prince2, PMP) are considered an advantage.
