We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Reporting & Data Lead to join our dynamic team within the Insight-to-Impact department. In this role, you will focus on managing and streamlining data operations, reporting processes and leading daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive high-quality, data-driven decision-making across the organization. A solid understanding of in-market data and its complexities, as well as experience using activity data in the pharmaceutical industry to generate actionable insights, is essential.
You will be responsible for ensuring that reporting and automated descriptive solutions align with business needs. You will drive BI platform management, data governance, and reporting operations while working closely with reporting and analytics teams, business stakeholders, IT, and outsourcing partners to deliver innovative, best-in-class IT infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Management:
• Manage and oversee go-to-market datasets, including activity data, in-market data, patient data, and market research.
• Collaborate with teams across Commercial, Medical, and Market Access to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
• Monitor data quality control processes to maintain accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and enforce data management policies and best practices to standardize processes and ensure compliance.
2. Reporting Operations:
• Oversee the reporting processes to deliver actionable insights to key stakeholders.
• Ensure timely and accurate report generation and dashboard development for business units.
• Coordinate with country OE-leads.
• Work with analytics teams to standardize reporting frameworks and key performance indicators.
3. Project Management:
• Lead and manage day-to-day data and reporting operations.
• Optimize workflow for issue resolution and demand management.
• Coordinate with IT, analytics, and business teams to align resources and ensure success.
4. Data Governance:
• Establish and maintain data governance frameworks for compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and processes for managing data assets.
• Promote a culture of data accountability and ethical data usage throughout the organization.
Requirements
Your Contribution
• Lead the Reporting landscape as a strategic asset within I2I Go-To-Market IC and ensure the execution of associated projects.
• Establish strong partnerships within I2I, IT, Advanced Analytics, Compliance, and Business Unit and facilitate governance meetings for workload management.
• Oversee security management, including folder structures and user access controls.
• Maintain a comprehensive view of the data landscape, ensuring:
o Proper data definitions and business logic.
o High data quality and adequacy for intended use.
o Consistency across Qlik applications and proper documentation of business rules.
o BI tool adoption is monitored and optimized.
• Lead reporting training programs to enhance utilization and understanding of Qlik reports.
• Act as the Point of Contact (PoC) for structured data vendors and reporting solutions.
• Partner with IT custodians to enhance data architecture, master data, and transactional data.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in reporting and analytics.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
• Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
• Minimum 8 years of experience in data management, reporting, or related roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Proven experience in managing data projects and delivering measurable results.
Skills & Knowledge:
• Strong proficiency in business intelligence and data analysis.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical data landscapes and CRM data models from a technical perspective.
• Hands-on experience with data management tools, reporting software, and databases (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, Power BI).
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead high-priority, business-critical initiatives within a matrix organization.
• Fluent English proficiency is mandatory.
