1. You are holder of a Master in Law, with good to excellent results.
2. Experience in the academic field or otherwise is recommended.
3. Ability to integrate into the existing research group.
4. Since the teaching activities are in Dutch, proficiency in Dutch is required.
You are expected to conduct PhD research in the field of Tax Law, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bram Devolder. You are expected to conduct scientific research, both your own research and concerning projects of the research institute. You are expected to provide teaching support for the courses "Vennootschapsbelasting", "Juridische en economische aspecten van transfer pricing", "Fiscaliteit van fusies en overnames" and/or "Ondernemingsfiscaliteit". This includes a.o. teaching practical exercises and/or seminars as well as supervising papers and master's theses.The team of the Faculty of Law and Criminology at KU Leuven Campus Brussels conducts high-quality research and education in various legal domains, including tax law. You will do your research in close collaboration with the Leuven colleagues from the Institute of Tax Law (https://www.law.kuleuven.be/fisc/en).A full-time contract for 1 year, starting on 1 September 2025, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum of 4 years, subject to a positive evaluation and available funding. An earlier start is negotiable.
