Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Are you a skilled Data Architect ready for your next adventure? Amaris Consulting is on the lookout for a motivated individual with a strong background in data architecture and design to join our Data & AI Center of Excellence in Brussels. This is a great opportunity for professionals with keen analytical abilities, a strong technical sense, and excellent communication skills.
Your Responsibilities:
* Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures that meet business requirements.
* Develop and maintain data models, data flow diagrams, and other architectural documentation.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including data engineers, data scientists, and business leaders, to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
* Define and enforce data standards, policies, and best practices to ensure data quality and consistency.
* Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve performance and cost efficiency.
* Evaluate and recommend data management technologies, tools, and platforms.
* Ensure compliance with data governance and data privacy regulations.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineering and development teams.
* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data architecture and data management.
* Conduct data architecture reviews and assessments to ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, models, and processes to support transparency and knowledge sharing.
Your Profile:
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in data architecture and excellent problem-solving skills. Your attention to detail and ability to simplify complex information will set you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments but can also work independently when needed.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role, with a strong track record of designing and implementing data architectures.
* In-depth knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and database design.
* Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
* Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
* Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data privacy regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience with ETL processes and data integration tools.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and dynamic team environment
