Job Opportunity: MATERNITY LEAVE REPLACEMENT: Full-Time Bilingual (French/English) Receptionist and Administrative Assistant at Montgomery International School

We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. This dual-role position transitions between receptionist and administrative responsibilities, including assisting leadership with administrative tasks.

Duration: 12/5/25 - 30/9/25, with possibility of extension until end of December 2025
Key Responsibilities
Receptionist Tasks:
* Professionally handle incoming and outgoing phone calls, directing messages and calls appropriately.
* Welcome and assist visitors, parents, and students, ensuring a positive and efficient experience, and following our procedure for visitors.
* Manage and distribute incoming mail and packages, following our procedure.
* Handle outgoing correspondence.
* Monitor security cameras to ensure the safety and security of the school premises.
* Maintain a tidy, organized, and professional reception area.
Administrative Assistant Tasks:
You will be familiar with administrative tasks across all school departments (administration, admissions, and operations), enabling you to step in as needed.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Student Supervision and Records:
* Supervise students during arrivals, departures, and breaks and in between campuses.
* Maintain attendance records and communicate with parents regarding absences.
* Manage student files and records.
Office Administration - The main responsibility will be to assist leadership with administrative tasks.
* Organize meetings, appointments, and school events.
* Maintain and update the school calendar and leadership schedules.
* Set up a cover schedule for absent teachers.
* Handle correspondence, take dictation, and transcribe or translate documents.
* Purchase school materials and supplies.
Finance and Logistics Support:
* Create payment receipts and manage requests.
* Liaise with the finance department for invoice preparation.
* Book and arrange travel and accommodation for school-related trips.
Other ad hoc tasks as assigned to support the leadership team and overall school operations.

Essential Skills:
* Fluency in French and English (both written and spoken). Any additional language is a plus.
