As the Electrical/Instrumentation design Engineer, you will be responsible of the design of the Electrical network, design of Instrumentation in our new and existing Lime production facilities.
Your Responsibilities
Your responsibility as the Electrical/Instrumentation Design Engineer is to lead the complete Electrical/Instrumentation design of our new lime production facilities. This process includes the following phases:
Basic Engineering
1. You develop single line diagram for the plant
2. You develop the automation network diagram
3. You perform preliminary electrical calculations like short circuit, voltage drop, cable cross section, protection relay settings
4. You prepare Electrical load list, Instrument index and I/O list
5. You prepare technical specifications for electrical equipment like MCC, Transformers, VFD, UPS…
6. You prepare technical datasheet for instruments
7. You define, with Design engineering team, battery limit between piping and instrumentation
8. You define, with Design engineering team cable trays location, and Electrical room layout
9. You follow and manage the development of the basic engineering with design team (internally or with external supplier) – PID.
Detailed Engineering
10. You follow up of Engineering contractors work, review their engineering documents according to project request, Carmeuse standards and good engineering practices
11. You perform the FAT for the electrical and Automation panels, and VFD in contractor workshop
12. You review Contractor’s electrical calculation note (short circuit, cables, voltage drop…), electrical and Automation drawings.
Erection
13. You are the contact point with our erection companies on site for technical questions
14. You support Engineering team during erection phase
15. You manage the improvements or modifications
16. You are in charge of the inspection on site.
Start-up
17. With our process team, you participate to the cold commissioning and the start-up of our new equipment.
Your Profile
Basic Requirements (Education, level of experience, language)
18. University degree: In Electromechanics
19. Minimum 5 years' experience in an industrial environment and more especially in similar industries (mines or quarries, steel industries, …) with at least 5 years in an Engineering context
20. Knowledge of IEC and Belgian electrical standards
21. Used to work in project team environment
22. Knowledge of ATEX constraints based on past experiences is a plus
23. Office tools knowledge
Needed Knowledges (Technical knowledge required by the position)
24. Electrical calculation (short circuit, cable, voltage drop, protection relays settings)
25. Knowledge in Instrumentation, (flowmeter design)
26. Able to interact with Mechanical design and Process team
27. Software: windows software, MS Project
28. Electrical Software: CANECO, Trace Sofware, Eplan
29. Languages: English fluent is mandatory (especially for technical discussion) French fluent is a big plus.

33. Able to interact within a multidisciplinary team through the different phases of the project
34. Will be based in our TECforLime office in Louvain-La-Neuve
35. Free to travel abroad for the management of the different phases of the projects (+/- 30% of the time) and more especially during the commissioning of the projects
36. Rigorous with the documentation storage
37. Eased with remote communication through Teams
38. Analytical and problem-solving attitude on reliability issues with our designs (especially on TFL development products).
