As a Global Test Manager, you will lead and oversee the testing strategy, execution, and quality assurance processes across multiple airline teams and vendors. You will be responsible for defining best practices, ensuring compliance with standards, and driving continuous improvement in testing methodologies. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing test resources, resolving issues, and mitigating risks to deliver high-quality software and systems on a global scale.You will be part of the implementation team responsible for setting up the aircraft technical system (AMOS) with our airlines around the globe. This team covers project management, processes alignment, data migration, interfaces, mobile applications, testing and training together as one team with all airlines. You will lead the mitigating risk associated with the deployment of the new software and ensuring a smooth transition to live operation.Report into the Program Manager. Key responsibilitiesLead the planning, design, and implementation of a comprehensive testing strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and expectations. Create and maintain requirements, test plans, test cases, and execute tests using advanced testing techniques and tools.Establish a process for tracking and addressing defects identified during testing.Oversee testing resources, including key airline users involved in User Acceptance Testing.Collaborate with Product Owners, Managers, and other stakeholders to define testing models and gather insights to enhance testing processes.Uphold high standards for user experience and system performance by utilizing automated testing frameworks and tools as appropriate.Provide regular metrics and performance reports on testing activities to executive leadership, showcasing the impact and value of the testing team's efforts.Conduct various types of testing, including User Acceptance, Integration, Performance, and Regression testing. Qualifications10 or more years of experience in Testing.Experience in generating process documentation and reports.Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.Be able to perfectly communicate in English both orally and by writing.Have 2 or more years' experience in Aviation.Proven ability to manage project workstreams and user testing.ISTQB Certification.Experience with qTest (Tricentis)Preferred skills (a plus, but not required):Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or similarHave Experience with MIS Implementation Projects (ideally: Trax to AMOS).Experience with JiraSpeak French, Dutch or German
