JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose:
The Retail Ops Trader will use strong analytical skills and commercial knowledge to drive in season trading activities to reflect latest business performance into the trading plan. He/She is collaborating closely with Senior Trader to drive Country & Store profitability by optimizing stock levels through the management of the Initial Allocation, Replenishment & other operational customer service tasks. He/she will assist to identify key business issues, provide analysis on opportunity and risk in the business, and make recommendations to drive revenues in stores. This role will collaborate closely with Retail stores & DTC teams.

Key Responsibilities:
4. Strong collaboration with Senior trader to drive the adequate replenishment based on store / market needs
5. Conduct quantitative analysis and insights together with senior trader to optimize inventory deployment – monetize new opportunities and identify risks and formulate recommendations
6. Execute Initial Allocations in line with the range plans and store grading
7. Provide analysis on in-season profitability to achieve or exceed seasonal performance at Geo / Category level
8. Ensure & set up promotional pricing in EPOS systems (Raymark/Xstore); communication to stores & with stores during the process & full discounting period
9. Generate & issue Pricecats files
10. Highlight & execute Store to store transfer opportunities & returns
11. Identify opportunities in store to clean Excess inventory
12. Close follow up on customer service activities, inbound/outbound with DC, returns process, 3rd party vendors & deliveries
13. Monitor product availability in European warehouses to identify product opportunities in order to drive local commercial initiatives
14. Close collaborate with Planning, Retail Merchandising to reassess in season performance, leverage key learnings into in season trading actions and reflect into next season assortment buy
15. Regularly visit retail stores to gather market intelligence and reflect key take outs into in season trading actions
Education:
16. Retail Management, Business management or Finance
Experience:
17. 2+ years of work experience in Retail business; store experience is a great plus
Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills:
18. Analytical skills to interpret meaningful themes from quantitative data
19. Understanding of Retail revenue drivers
20. Ability to articulate key performance indicators, and how they are used in key systems/tools
21. Microsoft Excel
22. Fluent in Spanish
