Associate Director, Project Management (CapEx) en Engineering
Purpose of the role
The Senior Project Manager is managing a portfolio of projects and / or programs from the early FEL phases up to delivery with commissioning, qualification and validation for investment projects at Organon Oss site. Will work with internal representatives from Production, SHE, Quality, Finance, Maintenance, Procurement, and external stakeholders, to deliver projects according business objectives. The Senior Project Manager will service capital projects in the field of production extension, introduction of new products or processes, equipment renewal, building modifications or a combination of those.
Main responsibilities
* Responsible for the overall project management aspects: people, safety, scope, quality, budget, planning, etc.
* Leading multi-disciplinary pharmaceutical projects of > 50 M€ and > 20 internal and external project participants.
* Able to manage 4 – 5 projects simultaneously or a program of related projects with a timeline of 3 – 5 years.
* Acts as a liaison for the project sponsor and coordinates the information between project team and relevant stakeholders.
* Building strong relations with both internal and external stakeholders (for example EPCM-firms, contractors and machine suppliers) and acting as contact person for the project.
* Managing Project Managers of sub-projects as part of a program.
* Able to define with sponsor the starting points and assumptions for the program or project.
* Specify and manage scope, planning, quality and identify risks and consequences for budget in all phases.
* Setting up project team structure in consultation with resource managers and external parties.
* Generating conceptual design solutions, studies and project definitions leading to approved project proposals.
* Gaining approval for the investment proposals and stage gates complying with Organon project standards and requirements.
* Arranging availability of working space, installations and services for the execution of the project.
* Execution of the construction activities according Organon quality and safety standards.
* Arranging for the commissioning, start-up and qualification of the project deliverables.
* Completion of the project with respect to as-built documentation, maintenance deliverables and operator training.
Your profile
* Master (Engineering degree) or professional Bachelor (Engineering Degree)
* + 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical implementation projects
* Experience with architectural and pharmaceutical equipment projects as well as installation of technical systems.
* Excellent communication skills, able to inspire and energize your project team, higher management and craftsmen
* Safety First and Quality Always mindset
* Self-propelled, independent, ability to prioritize
* Proactive and “Go-see” attitude
* Service and customer oriented
* Communicate in Dutch and English (both verbal and in writing)
* Computer skills (Microsoft Applications)
* Living < 1 hour travel distance from Oss.
