Michael Page has officially opened its operation 20 years ago in Belgium and has grown since then to almost 160 employees. We provide tailored executive search solutions within the following practices: Financial Services and Industry.
Job Description
1. Responsible for executive search projects and acquisition of new clients in the industry practice related to the Flanders region.
2. Lead and manage searches from acquisition, selection process, interviews with executives, and negotiation with the help of a research team.
3. Originate and develop business with new clients in Belgium.
4. Leverage internal channels: existing PSAs with Michael Page, global clients of Page Group, dedicated conferences, economic development, and investors with the support of internal business intelligence tools.
5. Build a network with executives across Director, C-level, Board Members, and Human Resources.
6. Identify new business opportunities and win new exclusive search mandates with tenders (presentations, negotiate contracts, and advise on market developments, new trends, and salary surveys).
7. Offer clients tailored search solutions and develop long-term relationships.
8. Drive global business initiatives and take an active part in the development of the global practice with other experts within Page Group.
9. Support the further development of Page Group and Page Executive in accordance with the Group strategy and cross-selling initiatives.
10. Represent the company and the brand at conferences, networking events, and associations.
The Successful Applicant
1. 10 years of local executive search experience.
2. Experience in the service sector and with clients in the industry sector.
3. Strong track record in business development, sales, and commercial approach, ability to be a business partner for local and global decision-makers (including but not limited to C-level professionals, regional function heads, management, supervisory boards, and Human Resources).
4. Proven track record in delivering revenue targets with strong commercial acumen.
5. Experienced in managing multiple and complex search projects in a fast-paced environment.
6. Demonstrate a proactive, hands-on business approach with a resilience and hard-working personality.
7. Strong negotiation and presentation skills with an exceptional customer service attitude.
8. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, time management, and multitasking skills.
9. Fluency in English and Dutch; French would be an advantage.
10. University degree or equivalent education would be an advantage.
