As Transformation Manager Finance Benelux, you support the BU CFO by ensuring compliance with the agreed processes and procedures and contribute to value creation and optimization through financial planning, reporting and challenge of the operational performance
What are the key responsibilities?
Business Unit support and partner in the business transformation
1. Provides detailed analysis on business performance enabling right business decisions (profitability, cash generation) in day-to-day activities as well as during tender preparation
2. Assists in preparing tender reviews (incl. tender review presentations)
3. Analyzes financial and operational indicators and propose performance improvements
4. Structures, creates and promotes PowerBi reporting to foster the autonomy of the organisation with data need
5. Screens costs, looks for costs' reduction and cash generation opportunities at BU level through analysis, benchmark and comparison
Record to report processes
6. Takes part in consolidating all financial information of BU scope and ensures their consistency at the level of the legal company
7. Is trained to be a back-up for the controlling team (industrial & Commercial controlling)
Financing & cash Management
8. Involves in establishing the cash forecast based on inputs from the sites
9. Facilitates cash visibility and its implied processes
Internal Control
10. Coordinates the production of financial statements and ensures that analytical reviews, reconciliations, physical checks and other key control activities are in place to guarantee an effective accounting and financial internal control
11. Enforces Nexans’ policies and procedures relating to financial processes and reporting / accounting rules
12. Identifies and help deploying a proper segregation of duties is respected and that access rights to the financial and accounting systems are perfectly monitored
13. Promotes the deployment of Nexans’ policies and procedures in business processes. Fosters internal control awareness in all functions. Supports – as needed – business-owners / functions in putting into action internal control principles / objectives and track resolution of identified audit recommendations
Which profile are we looking for?
14. Master degree in Finance with a significant experience in a similar role, in an industrial environment
15. Excellent analytical skills and ability to interact with operations
16. Result oriented and communication skills
17. Experience in the functional design, implementation and the use of performance and margin measurement tools and dashboard/score cards for project activities to support strong decision-making processes (e.g. Power BI)
18. Fluent in French & English
19. Knowledge of SAP & Power BI is a plus
