About the Role
Our international member organization represents private water sector companies and promotes their interests with governments and international organizations. Its mission emphasizes the importance of sustainable water and sanitation management.
Main Responsibilities
* Promote membership to potential new non-members through targeted outreach efforts.
* Identify and research new member and sponsorship prospects, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
* Represent the Association at events and exhibitions, fostering relationships with members and establishing new contacts and prospects.
* Develop and deliver compelling presentations to prospective members and sponsors, outlining the benefits of membership and partnership.
* Provide strategic insights and feedback to the marketing and management teams on market trends and industry developments.
* Maintain strong relationships with existing members and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed.
* Create new offers and services, including detailed market strategies and pricing plans, to enhance the Association's value proposition.
Requirements
* Critical thinking and task execution skills, enabling effective contribution to team objectives.
* Highly motivated individual who can work independently and proactively without direct supervision.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, facilitating clear and concise interactions with colleagues and members.
* Proficiency in one or more European languages (e.g., French or Spanish) is a valuable asset but not essential.
* Professional approach with a customer-focused mindset, prioritizing member satisfaction and delivering exceptional service.
* Ability to improve event procedures and take ownership of events, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
