As team leader of our cloud and infrastructure service, you will be in charge of:
* Mentoring a team of field and helpdesk engineers and act as their technical Guru. Your broad knowledge and hands-on experience will be required as 3rd or upper support level.
* Analyzing, advising, designing and following-up the implementation of both custom and standard solutions, in close relation with the customer and your team.
* Managing and following-up all the aspects of IT migrations in a role of project leader, and communicate regularly and thoroughly about the steps with the customer.
* Assessing & suggesting improvements to the IT infrastructure of our customers in close relation with the sales, both internally, or in a meeting with the customer.
* Dealing with complex issues/cases and managing the eventual crisis with the customer and management.
Using your highly technical background, you work together with our datacenter supervisor & maintainer to:
* Design and develop extensions on our datacenter infrastructure and improve HA.
* Prepare investment plans (choice of new hardware/software, testing of new technologies, budget calculation, etc)
* 5-10 year hands-on experience in installing, configuring and maintaining both cloud and on-premise infrastructure and services, including VoIP telephony.
* Broad knowledge of:
o Servers and network equipment, layer 2 and 3 switching,
o SAN and NAS
o Wifi protocols including WDS,
o Microsoft DNS server, AD, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Windows Cluster services
o Microsoft 365 and Azure Cloud Solutions, including Microsoft Teams. Knowledge of SIP and SBC is a bonus
o HyperV & Vmware hypervisor and management tools
o Remote Desktop Services
o Windows Storage Space, both direct and normal
o Veeam backup solution
o Business continuity/HA and security (Firewalls, VPN, MFA, certificates...)
* Acquainted with:
o datacenter infrastructure
o PowerShell scripting
o Microsoft SQL database installation and configuration and basic SQL querying language
o If you don’t know something, you like to learn it efficiently and can implement it without choosing only the first obvious solution
* Strive for results-oriented work with an eye for detail
* Strong and fluent communication skills to
o Translate technical jargon in customer language
o Jungle with varying team-member skills
o Will to evolve as a team leader and project manager but not afraid of developing technical skills further and to get hands dirty when required
* Being:
o Dynamic
o Stress resistant in case of technical incident
o Reachable to assist your 24/7 technical team in case they can’t solve it alone.
o Languages spoken and written : Dutch + French + English
* Have a B-driving license.
* Your salary will be 4000 to 5000 euro gross monthly
