In a nutshell
We are looking for an IT Business Analyst & Project Deployment Coordinator to support a strategic application used by a wide group of Eurofins companies across the world, and integrated by numerous other Eurofins applications used within Eurofins’ Sales and Production processes.
You will primarily support the Product Owner with the “green-field” to consider transitioning and integration constraints, and development of the application, while at the same time support smooth deployments of the application within the Eurofins companies. This includes activities related to User Requirement and User Story analysis and specification and active participation in Scrum Ceremonies ensuring qualitative developments. Activities related to deployments covers organising qualitative stakeholder communication and training, organising and follow up of all required migration activities, etc.
IT Business Analyst ‑ Specific Assignments:
* Collect, analyse and formalise user requirements from backlog, key group documents and process descriptions, from key stakeholders through workshops, emails, interviews, etc.;
* Write clear and well-structured specifications (user stories) for prioritised functionalities/projects including their mock-ups and detailed acceptance criteria;
* Follow up on your projects, together with scrum team you are involved in, including: user story priority management, preparing and leading various scrum meetings, assisting developers and QA team members during user story implementation phase;
* Collaborate with business analysts within the team to successfully deliver complex projects;
* Coach other business analysts with the purpose of sharing knowledge, best practices and expertise;
* Closely interact with QA team members during acceptance criteria refinement meetings, test case reviews, sprint demo meetings;
* Align with project stakeholders on design proposals;
* Actively participate and collaborate within the application’s international scrums teams;
* Assist Business Analysts in UML modelling and service contract creation and review;
* Assist with the qualification of releases in close cooperation with the program's release management team and key stakeholders;
* Manage bug reports and request for changes;
* Prepare and deliver presentations and training sessions on end-users’ features;
* Manage end user documentation with a high quality level: online help, release notes, customer forum, release presentations, etc.
Project Deployment Coordinator ‑ Specific Assignments:
* Perform stakeholder analysis;
* Define and maintain communication plan;
* Meet expectations set by Product Owner defining deployment actions, priorities, etc.;
* Define, organise, and follow up all activities required ensuring smooth application deployments across the various businesses;
* Maintain standardised deployment action plan and consider continuous improvements of it;
* Align with team colleagues and co-operate in the creation of all required stakeholders’ communication (e.g., training sessions, end-user documentation tools, release updates, etc.);
* Support the alignment with other applications’ responsible;
* Define, follow up and support migration activities required as part of the deployment projects;
* Closely follow up on defined actions list until their completion;
* Perform regular status updates for each deployment project to deployment project stakeholders and the internal program management;
* Assist the second line support of the application.
Qualifications
Are you our kind of extraordinary?
* Bachelor or Master's Degree in Science, Engineering, IT, etc. or equivalent;
* 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, as an IT Business Analyst OR Deployment Manager OR Project Coordinator;
* Experience in software implementation methodologies is required;
* Experience in professional environments with complex system integrations is a strong asset;
* Experience in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment is a strong asset;
* Experience with Scrum is a plus;
* Understanding of and experience with UML is an asset;
* Knowledge of SQL is an asset;
* Experience in Project Deployments, Product Release methods and activities is a plus;
* Clear and concise documentation and specification skills;
* Fluent English communication skills (written/oral) required. Knowledge of another language is a plus.
