As a Senior Compliance Director, you will ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards across international operations. You will monitor legislative changes, implement compliance frameworks, and foster a culture of integrity. Working closely with internal teams, you will design and enforce policies that uphold the highest ethical and legal standards.

With a strong in-house Engineering Department and a workforce of 11,000 professionals across 27+ countries, it drives innovation through expertise in geotechnical engineering, concrete technology, BIM, and cutting-edge methodologies.
Your Task
1. Track and analyze legislative changes at Belgian, EU, and international levels in:
* Anti-bribery & corruption (lead)
* Anti-money laundering (lead)
* Anti-cartel regulations (lead)
* Corporate sustainability due diligence (support)
* Corporate sustainability reporting (support)
* Cybersecurity (support)
* Data protection (lead)
1. Develop and enforce compliance programs by:
* Drafting and implementing policies, rules, and procedures
* Conducting training programs and awareness initiatives
* Setting up communication channels, such as hotlines
* Performing internal audits, inspections, and peer reviews
* Enforcing compliance through disciplinary measures
* Resolving compliance issues and implementing corrective actions
2. Collaborate with internal departments to integrate compliance best practices
Your Profile
1. Degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; additional certifications are a plus.
2. 10+ years of compliance leadership in international settings; construction or project development experience is a plus.
3. Strong legal expertise, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
4. Ability to balance business goals with regulatory compliance.
5. Strong decision-making in complex situations.
6. Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
7. Leadership and organizational ability to drive change and align teams.
8. Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
9. Strong interpersonal and networking skills to influence stakeholders.
10. High credibility and accountability in compliance objectives.
