* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 3 years of experience in Hardware like RTL, or Software development (e.g. C or Python).
* Experience in performing power side-channel analysis and fault analysis on various cryptographic algorithms in a lab environment.
* Experience in embedded security or cryptography.
Preferred qualifications:
* Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture, embedded security or cryptography.
* Certifications in Security e.g. Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS), and Certified in Cybersecurity (CC).
* Experience with physical attacks and defense techniques.
* Experience with electronic lab work (e.g. oscilloscopes, power supply, glitcher).
* Experience with processor core architectures (such as ARM, x86, RISC-V, etc.) and IPs commonly used in System on a Chip (SoC) designs.
* Knowledge of system level, software and hardware security.
About the jobIn this role you will review security evaluation reports and carry your own hardware security evaluation/penetration testing to ensure the Device Under Test reaches the required security level. In the event vulnerabilities are identified, you will be responsible for identifying, proposing, and driving implementation of mitigation measures in software or hardware.Responsibilities
* Develop, understand, and apply security technical knowledge to complete a hardware security evaluation, security assessment and risk management tasks.
* Propose mitigation techniques in hardware or software to address security vulnerabilities.
* Perform penetration testing through e.g. power side-channel analysis and fault analysis on various cryptographic algorithms and security functionality in a lab environment on a consumer device.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug hardware security problems in lab and simulation.
