Functieomschrijving Your Mission As a legal administrative assistant at Puratos, you will be a part of the Group Legal Department, providing comprehensive support to our in house lawyers. Your role will encompass various responsibilities, with a primary focus on two key areas: Regulatory Compliance : You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail and understanding of compliance procedures will be essential in this aspect of your work. Corporate Housekeeping : You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and effectiveness of the group''s corporate housekeeping. In this context, the legal administrative assistant provides support to all levels within the Group Legal and Tax department, allowing exposure to all areas of the business. Key Accountabilities Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the corporate housekeeping data in relation to the Belgian and the foreign entities. Drafting, reviewing and implementing the required corporate documents, with the help of outside counsel or local business partners. Supporting the implementation and fine tuning of the IT tools relevant for the Group Legal and Tax department. Proposing appropriate working methods to colleagues, drafting manuals, giving trainings, coaching business partners. Assisting in corporate structuring processes (such as mergers and demergers, incorporation of new entities, capital increases,). Ensuring responsibility for different administrative processes (eg Know Your Customer). Drafting declarations, intervening towards financial institutions and governmental authorities, assisting in fine tuning company policies in light of changing legislative requirements. Arranging legalisations by notaries, Ministries of foreign affairs, and/or Embassies/Consulates Profiel You have a Bachelor''s degree or equivalent relevant experience. Ideally, you have a first relevant experience in a legal department but we are also open to motivated young graduates who are open to an on the job training. You are fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken). Additional language skills (eg French) are a plus.
