As a Technical Microsoft 365 Consultant at AmeXio, you act as the vital link between customer needs and technological solutions. You play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimising applications within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. With your expertise in SharePoint, Teams, and other M365 systems, you help customers unlock the full potential of their digital workplace. In addition, you have experience or a strong interest in change management and user adoption, and you’re capable of successfully guiding employees through the transition to new technologies, tools, and processes.
Job description
* Analyse and Advise: Identify customer needs and translate these into clear, practical solutions within Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, etc.).
* Clear Communication: Ensure all stakeholders, both internal and external, understand the solutions and are kept informed of progress.
* Migration Management: Plan and execute migrations to SharePoint Online and other Microsoft 365 solutions.
* Project Coordination: Work closely with the project manager to plan activities, monitor progress, and ensure goals are met within scope, time, and budget.
* Information Architecture: Configure and document content types, metadata, permissions, and other structures.
* Team Alignment: Coordinate with team members when there are dependencies (e.g., security & compliance requirements, user adoption activities).
* Risk Management: Identify and escalate scope creep, technical challenges, or other risks to the project manager in a timely manner.
* Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance solutions and processes.
* Presales Support: Contribute to the technical aspects of strong, customer-focused proposals during the presales phase.
* Knowledge Building: Stay up to date with Microsoft 365 innovations through certifications, conferences, and other resources.
* Knowledge Sharing: Share your expertise within the team and provide technical support where needed.
Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of one or more Microsoft 365 products and technologies, such as SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure, etc.
* Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
* Customer-focused with an analytical mindset. Able to lead workshops and clearly document outcomes.
* A team player who enjoys sharing knowledge with colleagues.
* Fluent in Dutch and English.
* Experience with development in PowerShell and SPFx.
* Experience with intranet solutions such as Powell and/or Purview is a plus.
* Experience with development in .NET or FME is also an advantage.
