We are looking for a Cleaning Validation Subject Matter Expert (SME) who is detail-oriented, proactive, and has a quality mindset to join us as a freelance in our campus in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.
About the Role
As a Cleaning Validation SME freelance for UCB, you will ensure the validation of cleaning processes for equipment involved in manufacturing processes (bioprocess) in compliance with GMP, HSE rules, and the Site's Validation Master Plan (VMP). You will guarantee the permanent auditability of the files in charge.
Who You Will Work With
You will work closely with internal customers, internal support services (IT, Metrology, Periodic Control), and external suppliers. You will also interact with the Quality Assurance Department to ensure compliance with current regulations, guidelines, standards, and internal procedures (SOP).
What You Will Do
1. You act as an expert and Validation leader within the cleaning validation project.
2. You carry out/lead quality risk analyses.
3. You define the validation strategy in agreement with the project team.
4. You draft the validation plan and associated documents.
5. You coordinate executions and draft reports and conclusions.
6. You develop partnerships with internal customers and support services.
7. You participate in internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections.
8. You report any problems impacting the quality of systems, instruments, or products.
9. You ensure compliance with current legislation and HSE rules.

1. Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field.
2. Strong knowledge of GMP and validation processes.
3. Experience in quality risk analysis and validation strategy.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
6. Fluent in English and French.
